Sales Contract

1. The buyer shall provide the dog with humane care and maintain it in accordance with all current and future state, county, and municipal laws and ordinances where the buyer resides.

2. The buyer shall provide the dog with adequate food, fresh water at all times, shelter, affection, love, and medical care, including all necessary shots and medication recommended by the veterinarian.

3. The buyer shall provide the dog with a fully fenced yard or other humane means of exercise. The dog shall not be kept constantly chained.

4. Ears and temperament are not guaranteed. This is because many external influences outside of the breeders control effect ears and temperament.

5. The buyer agrees that the breeder is in no way liable or responsible for any damage, accident, or injury resulting from the dog.

6. If this dog develops crippling hip dysphasia at anytime from purchase to two years of age (confirmed by x-rays from a competent licensed veterinarian) the dog should be returned to us at the buyer's expense. We will replace the dog (due to crippling dysphasia) as soon as possible with a replacement of equal value to the dog at the time of the original purchase. We reserve the right to request that the x-rays be sent first for review to a board certified veterinarian of our choice. Should the buyer prefer to retain the said dog' the buyer thereby forfeits any replacement, unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon.

7. For pet quality dogs, the buyer agrees to have the bitch spayed before her first season at six (6) months old, or to have the dog neutered no later than nine (9) months from the date of this contract.

8. The buyer shall pay a purchase price of ___________,  as well as all shipping charges and related expenses with regard to the delivery of the dog to the buyer, unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon.

9. The health and temperament of this dog is excellent to the best of our knowledge and belief at the time of the sale. We advise the buyer, however to have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian of the buyer's choice within 72 hours after the receipt of the dog. If the veterinarian finds the dog in poor health, the dog must be immediately returned to us at the expense of the buyer, unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon. Failure to see a veterinarian within 72 hours will void all guarantees. No further guarantee is made.

10. The buyer represents that he or she is buying this dog primarily as a personal or family companion even though the dog may have show quality structure. The buyer understands that the dog is not guaranteed for such use and the buyer has no obligation to the seller for showing or breeding this dog (nor for sharing stud fees or puppies resulting thereof).
